USAID and MSI: School Assessment Tests

Management Systems International and USAID commissioned InfoPro to conduct the EGRA Assessment Test which consisted of two baseline and two end line surveys. The aim of the study was to carry-out the EGRA assessment test among school students and measure the impact of the project on student reading performance. The EGRA assessment test collects data on children’s reading levels. Overall, the assessment consisted of four critical instruments: (1) Grade 2 EGRA Student Test, (3) Grade 3 EGRA Student Test, (3) Student Questionnaire, and (4) Teacher Questionnaire. The scope of work for this activity focused on administering EGRA student and teacher questionnaires in approximately 120 public schools throughout all regions in Lebanon for each of the four surveys. In total, 9,800 students and 920 teachers were assessed.
